Mongolia raised interest rates to 15 per cent from 10.5 per cent. The dollar dipped as low as ¥99.62 before pulling back to ¥100.15. The euro was up against the dollar at a seven-week high of $1.1331. Sterling was up versus the dollar at $1.3151. The yield on the two-year US Treasury was down 2 basis points at 0.72 per cent. The 10-year US yield was 2bp lower at 1.54 per cent. Brent rose to $50.77 a barrel, the highest in almost two months. Gold was up to $1,350 an ounce.
