Depending on where you are right now, you might be seeing some empty shelves lately for things like dairy products, diapers, cleaning wipes, toilet paper, meat, pasta, and other items.
Things have been getting better in many areas with shelves quickly being restocked with the necessary items.
Professionals working within the grocery and retail industry have repeatedly insisted that warehouses are still full and there is plenty of food, we will not run out of goods.

No Need To Worry
There is no need to worry about starving to death and shelves running dry for months. And worrying isn't going to do you much good regardless of circumstances. Worrying will only get in the way of your creativity and problem solving attempt to get yourself out of the current problem you might face.
Those who have been stocking up in the past couple of weeks only have so much freezer and fridge space, and some people might start going back to work soon within the next month or two. As soon as the shopping volume declines then things will be staying on the shelves for longer periods of time, things will start to feel like 'normal' again.
It isn't that food is running out but the frequency of people shopping right now that is causing problems.
They are already seeing the shopping volume start to level off, though it is still busy in many areas.
It might still be a few weeks before inventory can return to normal.

This is not what i have been seeing.
It appears something else is siphoning off product.
China has people who buy things to sell to Chinese (because our production quality is far higher), further, the CPP has asked many of its large overseas corporations to buy up needed goods.
BUT! A person cannot eat more food then they can eat.
So, where is it all going?
No, there is a supply chain disruption. A lot of food is not getting to the port, is not getting on a boat, and not being shipped.
The same with Chinese goods, much is not getting into a container and getting on a ship.
However, nobody is really reporting all the pieces, so all we can know is that the shelves are empty.
