Farmers Market - Sunday Funday

in marketday •  6 years ago

Sunday is a family fun-day in my neighborhood. There is a nice park where local farmers come and sell their produce. Just a short 15 minutes walk for me, so imagine... I am a regular :)

Lots of people shopping early. Kids in strollers, kids running, elders walking or sitting on benches, dogs... very nice!

Lines are forming fast, everybody wants something fresh for dinner today... despite the fact that everything is pricey :)

Fresh discoveries every day, true that!

Today I discovered sweet little plums, I used to eat them growing up in Romania, we called them corcodushe. I bought 2 pints, $8... very steep ha ha...

Still walking around... some people are doing yoga. Nice, they give free yoga lessons in the park on Sundays.

Ohhh... before I go... there are some cool views of Manhattan from here! It is hazy, so the photo came very blue...

Why dont you get a booth and start selling your things there? I find that farmers markets are a fast way to show your business off. Plus is a good income.

I don’t have a lot of things in stock. I am trying to build up my inventory. But it is a good idea, thank you 😊

I gave it an upvote just because I love Farmer's Markets and was just at a Farmer's Market just moments ago. Nice timing, huh? Thanks for sharing! Much Love!
