Crazy First Impressions

Marketing fundamentals.
You have your business setup.
If you operate from a fixed location what does the external area of your business look like. is it clean ,what are the first impressions a customer gets before they interact with you.
I visit many businesses and a few i have noticed do not clean up around the entrance areas.One in particular sells flooring products but by looking at the tiled entrance they only clean this once a year.bad first impressions.
Windows must be kept clean and ledges free from dust.
A stationery business that has a teller machine out the front always has
drink spills and once someone had vomited right next to the atm.
Bad first impressions.
Now the owner of that business may think that it is not their responsibility
but if you show that you dont take pride in your surroundings the business may be run in the same disorganised fashion.
Employees should always be dressed in tidy and neat clothing as they are
coal face of the business and their presentation can make the difference between getting a sale and retaining your customer in the long run.
Paying attention to these things are the start to keeping your business successful and pave the way to more sales.
I will cover many other important aspects such as customer retention,usp
and telling your customer why they should deal with your business.
