- The majority of people run evergreen opt-in offers, where people can go to the squeeze page anytime they want and opt-in. The result is that a lot of people procrastinate and never subscribe.
- A way to overcome this is to start using a number of time limited opt-in offers. Each offer is available for only a limited amount of time. And the squeeze page has a countdown timer to reflect this fact.
- Once the countdown timer reaches zero, the offer is closed to public for a period of time.
- Combine this with coundown-based Facebook Advertising, and you'll be able to crush it.
- What you do is... run a set of countdown ads all promoting the same Squeeze Page and the same offer.
- Each ad is exactly the same. The only difference is that each ad is counting down the number of days until the offer expires. And each ad is scheduled to automatically run for 24 hours only.
- So for example, one ad says 3 days left until offer expires. And runs for 24 hours. Then you have another exact same ad, but only this one says 2 days left until offer expires. And runs for 24 hours. Etc. Until 0. The only thing that changes is the countdown.
- Run these ads to people who have visited your site or squeeze page, but haven't opted-in yet.
- Another great thing you can do is to add a colored border to your ads to highlight the urgency. So the ad goes from having a green border on the first day, and then a yellow border as it gets close to expiring, and finally a red border on the last day. Just like a traffic light.
- Once this offer expires, close the squeeze page, and start running a different promotion to a different offer and squeeze page and repeat.
