Dow Jones Index Continues Parabolic Trend

in markets •  5 years ago

This chart speaks for itself. The growth of equities in this environment can only be maintained through exponential inflation and (effectively) negative interest rates.

When this parabolic inflation leaks into the consumer economy, not if, there will be permanent consequences for society and quality of life in the West. We've had a good run, but the chickens have to come home to roost eventually. A parabolic trend cannot last forever, let alone for very long, and they usually result in massive losses when the blow off is over.

At this point I wouldn't bet on anything in the equity markets that you aren't prepared to lose, short or long.
