Simple, Direct and Practical

Do you find it complicated to learn different moves for self-defense?

There are complicated moves and it does the same thing, aka, defend against a particular move. Or, maybe you find it complicated because you do not understand why you have to make your move in that way.

If you do not learn the basics properly and start learning different things, it will be complicated for you although it is not. So learning basics is a must. That's the foundation. After learning that, you can keep learning advanced moves.

There are complicated moves and you do not need to do this in that way. You can learn that but when you fight in real life for self-defense, you might not find it useful. You usually do not get enough time to execute that or that's not practical to apply in a fight under pressure.

Whatever you learn in your training, if that's simple, direct, and practical, that will be highly effective for self-defense. Any unnecessary moves might look good, but that is not useful in a fight under pressure. You simply cannot apply that at that time.

Sometimes the effectiveness of any moves depends on you. How good you are at that? Can you execute that technique without thinking about that? If yes, that's great. You need to practice that move over and over. And when you get used to making that move just seeing the situation without thinking about that, that can help you a lot in a fight.

Things can happen so fast in a fight, you will not get the time to think. You have to react fast as a defense. So what do you think about executable moves in a fight? Please feel free to leave your comments below.

Thank you so much for reading this post. That's it for now. Stay safe. Always be happy!
