Defence Against Knees In A Clinch. OverWatch Self Protection Video#4

In this video, we explore defending against knees while being grabbed. A very dangerous and common attack.

-From ready position, as your opponent grabs you in preparation for a knee, cover and protect making use of your "Bone Guard" The hard points of your elbows.

-As you sink your weight use the points of your elbows to attack the driving knee, as you rise to use the momentum to attack under the opponent's chin snapping the head back.

-As stated the shoulder dislocation/ armbar should not be done with arm power alone. Sink your weight as you move 45 degrees across the opponents (shi o do ri) balance point. Taking their balance and applying torque to the shoulder.

-Once you are free keep moving to restrain or RUN!
