Marvel Studio's original series Ms. Marvel premiered on Disney+ Hotstar in June 2022. This is the seventh Marvel series that fans have been waiting for.

Ms. Marvel will feature talented young star Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, a 16-year-old Pakistani-American superhero. This is the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) first Muslim superhero story. Ms. Marvel tells the story of Kamala, a Muslim girl who grew up in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Ms. Marvel is said to have succeeded in capturing the attention of fans with a fresh feel and a story that is close to the audience in Indonesia. Apart from the cultural background that the audience in Indonesia is familiar with, the story of Kamala as a teenage girl with all her problems makes Kamala's character feel so close.
