決済大手マスターカードは、米証券取引委員会（SEC）に提出した年間報告書で以前から取り組んでいるブロックチェーンや暗号資産（仮想通貨）に関する事業についても報告したそうで同社の取り扱う全取引の約30％がデジタルトークンにより行われていると発表しているそうなのですがマスターカードのユーザーは世界中にたくさんいるためその人たちに対しても何らかのブロックチェーン技術を使えるようにしそうな感じがします。
In its annual report submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), payment giant MasterCard has also reported on its business related to blockchain and crypto assets (virtual currency), which it has been working on for some time, and has announced that approximately 30% of all transactions handled by the company are carried out using digital tokens.Since MasterCard has many users around the world, it seems likely that they will be able to use some kind of blockchain technology for them as well.
