- Wil Wheaton has gotten him self in trouble for being reprehensible... (again?)
Turns out things are more complex that one might originally think. Wil Wheaton got himself kicked off Mastodon,for blocking people... but, more than that, people had been upset with him for promoting a trans-phobic block-list.
Wil Wheaton seemed to get a bad deal as a result of being cast as one of the less popular Star Trek characters, On one hand it would be awesome to be on Star Trek, but on the other hand unfair to be condemned for playing a character that wasn't very popular.
However, he came back from that, managed to make him self appear cool in the eyes of the world, until he got into regressive politics and started condemning others for not liking bad movies, and also condemned people for disagreeing when video games were being misrepresented for social-political propaganda... Now he has been kicked off mastodon due to issues that have been misrepresented as overly simple. He didn't just offend people by blocking them, he used and promoted a block-list that was trans-phobic.

Also, I've noticed some strange people take special notice when I speak about Wil Wheaton, but that's OK the people in question are kind of ironically unintentionally funny.
