Matched by Ally Condie was a very interesting read I've spent the last few months hearing people rave about this book I ordered it from amazon for my birthday and couldn't wait
to read it but the writing disappointed me at first it was shallow and flat and after reading authors that have such amazing in-depth styles
I felt slightly let down it didn't take me long to get past that though I'm not sure if con DS writing just got better or I just got used to her style
but after about 50 pages I was hooked I had so much fun reading a love story the last eight books I've read have been about boys and for once it was nice to read something about a girl who
is falling in love the way the love story plays out is intriguing and interesting and the fact that it's forbidden love makes it that much more exciting I will admit that
I would have liked the story to move forward a little bit more it seemed to take a long time for anything to really happen besides character development and when adventure finally struck
the book was over but after finishing the book I could kind of understand why condi left the adventure aspect for the sequel it gave Kasia the main character plenty of time to change and
grow into the person she was at the end of the book and for the story to develop the way it did and I suppose with more books on the way a story that is basically just introduction
to the characters can be pulled off I enjoyed this book the love story was great though I won't rave about it like some of my peers it was good and i'm sure most girls would enjoy
it i will say one more thing ally condie definitely got me hooked enough to read the second book crossed which comes out november first that
cliffhanger ending definitely has me interested to see what's going to happen next.
