Below are very simple 2nd grade math level patterns in geometric shapes and in numbers and letters. They still need some head scratching by adults too. You can print the pdf version and complete on the paper or can guess in your head the complete pattern just by visualizing online.
But for 2nd grade and 3rd grade kids I highly recommend to print the pdf format and do the work on the paper. This way you can try try again and be very successful in pattern tracing in elementary grade and later in reasoning and in algebra.

Trust me, learning to complete patterns in early grades develops a huge confidence in young kids and enable them to encounter and solve very hard algebraic word problems in higher grades. In other words mastering pattern finding skills in elementary grades builds a very strong foundation for higher grade maths and kids like math instead hating it because of disconnections from reasoning and patterns.
