Circle Geometry Lesson 2 - The Tangent and Radius Relationship

in math •  8 years ago  (edited)

How tangent to a circle related to its radius?

Tangent to a circle is always perpendicular to its radius at the point of tangency. This relationship is known as the tangent-radius property of a circle.

I have given a brief explanation on this topic with its application in the lesson below;

Nice article about geometry and thank you for sharing. Look forward to your other articles to explore more about different properties with circles. This really reminda me of the high school days doing this kind of computational stuff. Plane geometry is beautiful but also difficult when things get more complicated!

Thanks a lot for stopping by @manfredcml. Really appreciate your kind support :)

Thank you @mathworksheets it's good to have my math skills refreshed.
I was wondering if you will do another history on mathematics post?

I really appreciate your support my dear friend @cryptodan. Yes I will keep doing history of mathematics. These posts take time as lot of readings and research is needed, now I am working on other two Great Greek Mathematicians; Hippocrates of Chios and Theodorus of Cyrene. Will post by the weekend.
