Using Equivalent Fractions Strips 

Equivalent fractions can be understood using the equivalent strips. I have done the following worksheet long ago when building my fractions worksheets.

I think tables like this could also be used to weigh fractions against each other. ie 10/16 > 7/12 .
For it to be complete we would need to include all fractions , like the missing 1/5, 1/7. That might lead to the table being overloaded. Just a random idea that came to my head :D

Your idea is creativity. In the classroom situation students came with such extensions of a general math concept scored almost 100% in math. Thanks for for all your support @thatgermandude. Your comments are kind of supplementary to my posts.
