How to multiply two binomials?

A binomial is a polynomial with two unlike terms. For example; "x + 5" is a binomial, "2xy - z" is another one. All students in grade 8 should know how to multiply a binomial with another one. FOIL method is the name give to the method used to multiply two binomials. It is explained as below:

  • F - means First
  • O - means Outer
  • I  - means Inner
  • L - means Last
