Let's rearrange the following equation so that we can reveal a secret message!

1.png

We are going to apply various properties of equality. Let's start by mutiplying both sides of the equation by r squared.

2.png

Next we are going to exponentiate both sides of the equation by the natural number e. Remember that the number e and the natural logarithm (log base e) are inverse operations so they cancel out.

3.png

Then we will add the expression sa to both sides of the equation.

4.png

From here we will multiply both sides of the equation by m.

5.png

Having multiplied by m let's go ahead and apply the distributed property on the left side of the equation and distribute the variable m to both terms.

6.png

Now let's subtract the term msa from both sides.

7.png

Finally we apply the commutative property of multiplication to y times r squarred term and rewrite it as r times r times y. We also apply the commutative property of multiplication to the m times s times a term and rewrite it as m times a times s. We also color the left side of the equation green and the right side of the equation red given us our secret message!

lol, really like it! not sure the use of logarithm is correct but very creative overall!

how can you get e with yr2

You raise both sides of the equation with base e. Alternatively, you can rewrite the logarithms into its exponential form: ln(y) = x becomes e^x = y

ow thank you 😊
