MODELLING A DRUM

Of all the aspects of animation, I find modelling quite an interesting part; I find joy in perfectly arranging and tweaking stuff until it is in the final state much like drawing. So I decided to take a break from animation and decided to model a drum.

The base structure of the drum is a cyclinder . The extruding parts are done using the Extrude function. Over 60% of the work was done using the extrude function. After creating the drum, i textured it using Autodesk Mudbox and tweaking the settings. It was textured using Arnold.
