Hi,

Im not sure, but I would imagine the reason everyone gets taken to the Trending posts is that not everyone wants to curate the new (and often sub-standard) entries that exists in "New". High quality content is what makes readers respect the site, and that is mostly what you will find in "Trending".

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
