In the ocean it is estimated that there are more than 6.4 million tons of plastic waste, a very large amount, these plastic pollutes the ocean makes marine life can be extinguished.

Currently there is a project that plans to eliminate up to 7,250,000 tons of plastic waste from the sea, this invention was created by Boyan Slat, this project is called the ocean cleanup.

These are patches that have a U shape that is intended to allow you to trap the plastic and collect it. This is a project that is still in the test period, this project is being executed by a non-profit foundation.
