Federal Civil Court Case to be filed in 8th Circuit United States district Court, Little Rock, Arkansas
Arkansas, Little Rock, July 18 2018:
U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions continues his fight against the 2nd Amendment rights of Medical Cannabis Patients, in conjunction with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearm
s and Explosives (ATF). The ATF issued a memo on September 21, 2011 which became law on January 16, 2017 stating that the buying, owning or possessing of guns and ammunition by a Medical Marijuana Patient is a violation of Federal Law, making them subject to arrest and prosecution.
This is grievous assault on the rights of hundreds of thousands of our citizens, including women, Veterans and the disabled. Citizens who choose to use a “State Regulated” alternative medicine, and own or wish to own a weapon, whether for hunting or self-defense are being forced to make a choice, give up a constitutional right, or face the possibility of arrest and prosecution for utilizing a safe alternative medication approved by a physician.
Interestingly, if you use any other mood altering drug “Approved by the FDA”, no such restriction applies. That in itself is a violation of the “Equal Protection Clause” which is part of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. In addition, the question 11. (e) is a direct violation of The Self - Incrimination Clause of the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution.
State Attorney Generals, State and Federal legislatures have failed to act on this issue. That is why a disabled U.S.Navy veteran, Robert Reed has decided to take matters into his own hands and take this issue to the courts, a very expensive process for one person to finance on their own. A retainer of at least $27,000.00 is required for these purposes. The total cost will depend on the amount of time and additional expenses incurred during the process, such as witness fees, court costs and per diem requirements.
It’s not an easy amount of money for any one individual to give up freely, which is why Mr. Reed is calling all supporters of the 2nd Amendment to help him #EndTheMadness with a small contribution. Under the Declaratory Judgment Act, he has the right to file this court case and the Court cannot deny a hearing in the matter. If you cannot contribute, post, share and report this effort to your local media. All funds not required to cover expenses at the end of the Court Case will be donated to a "certified 501 (c3) organization that deals with Veteran Suicide Issues.

Besides that KIND radio is having a search for talent and I'd love to have cannabis news covered!
