Mindspace Event - Made in Hamburg: Unilever meets Steemit

Last night StartUps, Innovators, Investors of Hamburg came together at Mindspace to network, listen to a discussion about the Founder Scene by representatives of companies like Google and Unilever, vote for some cool StartUps presenting their innovations. What Is Mindspace?

After the Round Discussion,  StartUps prepared some stands to demonstrate their product. We could all leave a vote and the winner StartUp will get free office space for a month. Pretty cool! this startup created something wii-like for elderly homes. It's the first therapeutic video game designed for elderly people. It recognizes motion and speaks to you. Although my grandma doesn't like technology, it's a fun innovation and who knows.. I mean there is no age limit to become a gamer right? Jokes aside, I think it's a great idea that also gently introduces elders to the new world.

Another StartUp presented an App that is all about nutrition, food, healthy tips.

Unilever goes Steemit?

Lastly I talked to Carolin Hoyer, Corporate Brand & Sustainable Business Manager of Unilever for a quite a while about Start-Ups, big companies and I told her about Steemit. She was very interested in it and we exchanged cards so we can arrang a date where I will present Steemit and the possibilities for a marketplace.

Unilever is a British-Dutch multinational consumer goods company. It is the world's third-largest consumer goods company measured by 2012 revenue, after Procter & Gamble and Nestlé. Unilever is the world's largest producer of food spreads, such as margarine.One of the oldest multinational companies, its products are available in around 190 countries. Unilever owns over 400 brands, but focuses on 14 brands with sales of over 1 billion. I'm excited to visit them in Hafencity, Hamburg and introduce the possibilities of Steemit. Even though my team didn't make it and I was at the event by myself, it was a fun experience and a successful event. I'm looking forward to many more cool Networking Event.
