• NO TIME/YOU'RE BUSY: Well, we all are but we squeeze out time for things as important as this.
• LONG DISTANCE: @michaelcj, @nmalove, @casweeney came all the way from KADUNA to DELTA. Over 12hrs ride. jacobite came from Abuja over 8hrs ride.
• NO MONEY: Really? Be serious. There were people that could have sponsored you if you showed the willingness. 1SBD will be enough for at the current price.
• YOU'RE SHY: Lolx. That's the more reason why you need to come for events like this. To cure your shyness. You can't continue hiding behind the keyboard all the time.

As we organize more and more of these sort of events, the community is bonding and the bonds are becoming stronger. In science, this kind of bond will not be called Van-Der-Waal Forces. Nope! ITS A COVELENT bond. A solid and strong one that can stand the test of time.

MENTORS MENTORED US ALL!

There's nothing as cool as putting faces to these names we always hear. The big names were all there representing with what they had. Inspiration was flying here and there. Thoughts and talks sparked off ideas and innovations were born. Adding to the ones that already existed.

I had the priviledge of having a chat with @ejemai, @destinysaid, @gbenga, @ehiboss, @tojukaka, @michaelcj etcz. These are men that inspire me on this platform and I can't but be happy to palpate the contents of their brains. These guys are blessed with the gift of thoughts. I'M GLAD I MET YOU ALL.

CONNECTING & RE-CONNECTING WITH STEEMIANS

There's a difference between someone's online persona and his/her offline persona. Except for people like @michaelcj who was always being funny and playful as THE BLOCKCHAIN ENTERTAINER I saw almost every other person in a new light (including myself).

• @NAIRADADDY: people said they thought I was dark and hardcore looking...LOLX.
• @TFAME3865: The guy is soft-spoken and cool. I got the secret behind his 3865. Its part of his ATM pin Lolx. Nope! Its actually his phone number.
• @BHOA: His real name is bhosa but he made a mistake while registering the Steemit account. People said they thought he was a BOT. He was unexpectedly funny even as a medical student. Lolx.
• @EWUOSO: He always turns up for these events whether under the rain or in the sun. Glad I met him. He's a cool guy.
• @CASWEENEY: He's actually the Developer working on my project but I got to meet him for the first time. He's and amazing and talented guy. Had the selfie stick of the day. Lolx.
• @NMALOVE: I had the priveledge of spending time with our able MOVIE REVIEWER. She's pretty and cool at the same time. We talked about her National Youth Service and what she will do next after that...
• @MIMY: she's very pretty. And errm she has a good smile too. Soft-spoken and tender. Well like every good lady.
• @OKORO: he's a funny guy. Always stressing the pronounciation of his name. Abeg! Whether na PO-ta-TO or po-TA-to all na the same bro. Lolx.
• @JACOBITE: he's also a Developer. He's a cool guy and he's enthusiatic about STeemit.
• OTHERS: @mediahouseent, @samywhite, AND LOTS OF NEW STEEMIANS...
