Many years ago, the construction of the road with rubber in Tripura started. Indian Rubber Board engineers get success in several places. Now the road was constructed using bitumen in a special way by collecting plastic waste in Meghalaya.
This road was built at Nankinjeng village in West Khasi district of the state. District administration claims that this road is a sturdy plastic road compared to the common roads.

The Deputy Commissioner said the road is much stronger than the weather condition of Meghalaya. So they are going to build two more roads using plastic waste.
