You rely on instinct to function in whatever path you chose to function in life. Whether you chose to be in a boardroom, boutique, on stage, you rely on something that cannot be taught or learned. Instinct draws a line between what we are good at, and what we are good for.
A lot of people seem to thrive by their instinct and example is a Fashion designer the does more than he/was taught in training, how does he have that flair that expresses the latest trends or probably create one of his own. Creativity can never be learned or taught, its comes from the stables of what lies on the inside.
Consider Athletes that make your jaw drop just by his good they are at what they do, investors that are keen to timing, businessmen, and women that can close any deal, lawyers that can defend you and get you acquainted even for the worst crimes, and many more examples of exceptional individuals.
Are they really exceptional?
Yeah, of course, they make mundane things look all magical, they could use a simple tool to produce spectacular results, aren't they special?
A Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi that makes Football look like a Childs play, Ray Allen the greatest 3pointer in Nba history. Aren't they special?
Those who live by instinct naturally enhance everything and everyone around them, in other words, success comes naturally to them.
