The images didn't work on my first post either and I had a hard time with this site, but I'm finally starting to get the hang of it.

    this whole layout seems strange to me. I'll stick with it for a while and try to figure it all out. Thanks @desibeatnik

      As far as the images go, I was told it was kind of picky about what hosts it will display and to stick with imgur or steemimg to name a couple, then use the direct image link, not the url from the top of the page. Hope this helps for the future.
