Ganz so einseitig sehe ich das nicht. Ich denke jeweils beide hatten gute und weniger gute Ideen. Nicht alles was @ned plante und tat war grundfalsch. Nicht alles was sich @dan ausdachte genial.
Sieh dir z. B. voice an. User müssen sich einer gründlichen KYC-Prozedur unterziehen, um es nutzen zu können. Da fallen viele der mit einer Blockchainlösung assoziierten Freiheitsideale einfach unter den Tisch.
Oder nehmen wir die Rewards-Kurven. Ich halte weder n^2 noch linear für das Gelbe vom Ei, sondern präferiere eher so etwas wie die jetzt geplante konvergent-lineare Kurve.

Danke für die geschätzte Antwort, @jaki01. Schön, dass ich dazu endlich auch Mal deine Meinung lesen kann. Wenn sie auch sehr zurückhaltend ist, wie immer.
Wir beide wissen, dass du eher der Analyst bit und ich mehr von emotionalen Komponenten überlagert bin. Aus dem Fenster hast du dich ja nie gelehnt und Investoren auf den Schuh treten, ist auch nicht dein Ding. Doch in deiner Antwort machst du es dir zu einfach. Ich frage mich aber gar nicht, warum das so ist.
Die Kurvendiskussion, offenbar dein Lieblingsthema, kennen wir ja schon seit HF 16. Ist das nicht eher eine Marginalie gegen den Verrat der HF 20? Das KYC-Verfahren? Ist eine rigide Personenprüfung nicht eher eine Reaktion auf Dans Erfahrungen mit dem Wildwuchs multipler Persönlichkeiten auf dem Steem? Ihm jetzt die Aufgabe von Idealen unterzujubeln, ist natürlich ganz wohlfeil, angesichts deines Mangels an tatsächlichen Argumenten.
Die Abschaffung der Kuratoren? Die Selbstvoter? Der Cirkle-Jerk? Voteverkäufe und STEEM-wucher standen nicht auf Neds und Dans Agenda. Im Whitepaper 1 konnte man das Setup eines einmaligen, sozialen Experiments ablesen. Dan ist gegangen, weil Ned vor seinen Investoren eingebrochen ist und was KYC konkret ist, weiß ich nicht. Es hat aber ganz sicher was mit Neds beinahe schon klassischem Verrat zu tun, wenn Dan Freiheitsgrade aufgibt und Sock-Puppets ausschließen will.
