Besides, when America rose to global economic and political dominance immigrants were entering in droves from all over, Europe and Asia primarily. Free movement means greater economic growth.
The logically consistent and ethical standpoint here is to not infringe of anyone's right to free movement, and to stop stealing from people here to fund programs for any else (this includes refugees and immigrants).
