Getting the Most From Your Mene Experience. Pro Tip Inside: The Free Cord

Hello there #Menemaniacs!

I would like to shed some light on a small issue I have seen come up several times from the community now when it comes to purchasing a charm or pendant that has the option of a free leather cord.

This is not singling anyone out as this very issue has happened to me more than once, and I totally get how it can. I’ve been wanting to post something on this for awhile now...

When you are ready to buy a 24 karat pendant like the precious mermaid for example, the default for the drop down menu for cord selection is “No Thank You”

You must manually choose your free cord in order to get the color and length you want:

If this has been done, you will know because there will be a notification “2” representing 2 items that have been added, your cord and your pendant:

Here’s where I know I myself have gotten into trouble....

Sometimes I have added this item to do a “price check” in order to see what the final cost of my item will be after adding in things like Mene credits and shipping.

Occasionally I will then remove the item from my shopping bag so I can do other price checks for single items.

THEN

When I got back and add the original mermaid, I forget to modify the free cord option again and this happens:

By this time I am usually in a rush just to buy the piece and don’t noticed I forgot to add the cord for the second time.

The way to check to see if this happened to you is to check your order history:

The last piece I ordered was the Luna Pendant (unboxing coming next week!) note in the bottom left order you can see the free cord I chose added to the item.

The Crown Ring does not have a cord added to it. The crown ring would not come with a free cord anyway, but I am just showing what it would look like if you forgot to add the cord to an item that did.... it would be blank in the left lower corner.

I am definitely NOT saying that Mene cannot make a mistake with your order! Just like any company, mistakes can happen. If there IS a mistake make sure to contact Mene’s excellent customer service here:
