I had some time today to plan out some blog posts. I found myself thinking about all the various stages that we will go through over the next 16 months or so. From here is seems like a straight enough path but I’m sure that there will be lots of twists and turns which we haven’t considered yet.
This week I got a demand letter from the bank to either return all our properties to them vacant or they will also accept full payment of the entire mortgage amount. The total amount is €843k , the arrears on the account €2,500. Before we decided to go bankrupt we didn’t have any arrears on that account at all. We missed the last two payments and didn't return their calls. They are getting nervous.
I didn’t tell them what we are planning. I have to send in another SFS statement to them to see what the options are. I know what option I’m taking is, Jingle Mail.
The banks are going to have more stress tests later this year, I wonder how many other accounts out there are “performing” like ours were 2 months ago.
