Mercy is a way of life: Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Philippians 4:5

The bible reminds us of the importance of being positive, happy, joyful, of being grateful for all the good things that God provides us in his infinite wisdom, in short, of rejoicing in God's mercy and trusting that he provides us with everything we need: "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer or petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.", Philippians 4:4-7.

The worries and anxieties of life cause us to lose sight of the blessedness of mercy (compassion, kindness, gentleness) and that the word of God does not bear fruit in us, this is explained by Jesus in the parable of the sower: "The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful.", Matthew 13:22.
Gentleness towards others is a clear sign that we are at peace with God and with ourselves (inner peace), the inner well-being of the soul with itself expands to others. And this is the opposite of hopelessness, hopeless people, those who have lost trust in others, show a permanent hostility towards their fellow man, and in whatever comes their way they suspect treason.
Jesus explains to us that we cannot enter the Kingdom of God (the empire, government, reign of the divine perfections) without works of mercy towards our neighbors: "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. The come, follow me.", Matthew 19:21. Gentleness is a way of life, gentleness blesses the person who gives it and the person who receives it.
