Would my prison history, make you feel less for me? I have a torn heart, and it’s from multiple tragedies.
I wasn't a straight A student, yet I gained more A's than B’s, but would you look down on me cause I'm
from the streets?
I have a heart like you, and mine is good and benevolent, yet if you learned of my involuntary
manslaughter would you become inconsiderate?
I deserve your mercy, you should look past my misdeeds, I was a good prospect in high school I missed
my college opportunity.
I’m confessing to you, to make amends for my sins, I was an honor roll student before I became a felon.
I’m a role model for the youth, but you must know what I've been through, before I solemnly swear to
live right by you.
