Have you ever wondered what happened to the early Messianic community in Jerusalem? At least some of Yeshua's apostles and brothers got married and had kids. What happened to their families? As it turns out, the descendants of that "first church" were still around centuries later, and were still called Nazarenes! What does history tell us about their location and lifestyle?
I recently did a short talk about this, looking at an important historical source from the 300s. I also talked about the role of the apostle or "shaliach" in Jewish law, and the question of whether the apostles used the Sacred Name or taught the early congregations to do so.
