Hey Bro,
So glad you‘re here!
A huge congratulations are in order for all the new SHOP owners inside the upcoming RFOX VALT retail and entertainment metaverse experience.
The 2nd of four auction rounds have concluded. And, once again, more than $1,000,000 in funds were traded for 25 virtual properties. Once again, SHOP #1 proved to be the most expensive of all 25 auctions, this time selling for 19.8 $ETH, the equivalent of $80k.
The very next SHOP went to the same Ethereum wallet, but the owner managed to score a last-second bid of only 7 $ETH. What a bargain! I was one of the bidders who missed out. Boohoo, but that’s the way the proverbial cookie crumbles.
Overall, the sale was a success, and all that $ETH is going to programs like $RFOX market buy-backs and token burns, not to mention extra VALT development.
The weekly RFOX multiverse update has more highlights, and the RFOX CEO says it best:
“We thank the RFOX team, ambassadors, and community for their hard work in making this SHOP sale a success. With the world increasingly looking into the promise of the metaverse, we are well-positioned to become a major player in its future, and this sale is an important step towards that goal.”
Before the 1st auction, the CEO stated that they didn’t need ANY funds to finish the VALT’s construction. Nonetheless, an extra couple-hundred grand can’t hurt.
Immediately following auctions for the VALT’s gaming-themed Arkamoto Quarter, RedFOX Labs rebranded to RFOX, which brought several benefits:
- The new RFOX.com makes it much easier to decipher what the RFOX multiverse is all about
- Since “Red Fox Labs” describes a breed of dog, trademarking the name or associated products is near impossible
The RFOX organization has been referring to itself as RFOX for quite some time; now, it’s official. It also takes up less space in mobile ads and is easier to remember.
But no matter what they choose to call themselves, team RFOX is on to something huge with the VALT. Look at the hundreds of thousands of land plots in Decentraland, and The Sandbox, then compare that to the VALT’s 100 publicly available SHOPs.
If you compare each SHOP's selling price with real-world commercial real estate intended for commerce, it’s like the new SHOP owners bought their virtual land for the price of a burrito.
Oh, if you missed the auctions and want to put a SHOP in your Ethereum wallet, the floor price is 50 $ETH on OpenSea. Still a bargain, but nothing beats the first-hand price. And lucky for us all, we get two more real-time chances to own a SHOP in the VALT metaverse.
Stay safe out there, Bro!
