Millions of $RFOX tokens have already left the RFOX multiverse and went straight into NFT holders’ wallets.
When staking windows open (there have so far been three), collectors who’ve completed qualifying sets of KOGs NFTs can lock them up for three months and earn $RFOX tokens when the epoch completes.
To date, such events applied only to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd edition KOGs sets. However, that will change next month. For the first time in KOGs history, special edition KOGs will become eligible for staking rewards.
Marvel’s Bad Days KOGs were the first of the special editions. Afterward came the Arena and Slam NFTs earned by playing KOGs: SLAM!, the free-to-play play-to-earn mobile game.
More recently, NFT collectors gained the chance to collect a wildlife series in collaboration with the IAPF, short for the International Anti-Poaching Foundation.
Here again, is the IAPF’s self-written story:
“Africa’s first armed, plant-based, all-women anti-poaching unit is revolutionising the way that animals are protected — and arresting poachers without firing a single shot. We believe change happens when it’s community-led and who better to lead change within a community than the women that have protected it for all this time.”
50 designs are hidden within boxes and packs sold for 24 hours beginning Feb. 14. All proceeds from the sale went to the brave Akashinga Rangers protecting Africa’s wildlands and wildlife.
Collecting all 50 designs — which includes the coveted Gold Rhinoceros Slammer — earns you the right to put them into a “Perfect Set” container. You can still play along if the Rhino eluded your WAX wallet. 49 pieces go into the “Standard Set” container.
If staked successfully, both sets will earn rewards paid in $RFOX tokens, the native currency of the RFOX VALT Metaverse ecosystem. Will be interesting to see the bonus for adding the Rhino! Of the 2,500,000 $RFOX set aside for March’s KOGs staking round #3, 250,000 are for IAPF sets.
And if you happened to partake in the sale, during which every $25 IAPF donation earned the donor a pack of KOGs and a raffle ticket, you’re in the running for a very special prize.
One lucky donor gets to see with their own eyes what it’s like to be an Akashinga Ranger. That’s right, RFOX is sending someone to Zimbabwe to visit the IAPF on its home turf.
Missed the sale? The collection is still available on AtomicHub, the WAX blockchain’s #1 (and nearly gas-free) secondary marketplace. You’re also free to donate to the IAPF at any time, although KOGs NFTs are no longer part of the arrangement.
Best of luck to you during your NFT collecting journey!
