If you took part in the RFOX VALT metaverse’s Callinova Quarter auctions in September, then you know what it’s like to bid to win.
Competition can be fierce, and you can expect to be sniped if you’re not careful! The difference between winning and losing an auction can come down to a matter of seconds. Just ask the winner of VALT SHOP #1, who barely escaped with a SHOP NFT.
However, there are a couple of key differences this time around. First, sales are conducted in $ETH instead of $RFOX tokens. As the team explains in a recent why ETH article, the move will attract more of the NFT crowd.
Second, the last auction took place before Facebook’s rebrand. As a result, the metaverse concept is spreading out to mainstream consciousness. Why interact with a 2D webpage when you can don VR goggles for total immersion?
Now that the metaverse is predicted to be a $1T industry, it’s also attracting plenty of attention from notable brands hoping to see where they can fit in. A prime example is Reebok.
With the help of the RFOX white-label NFT platform, the fashion icon created a limited run of 300 digital collectibles. Digital wearables are not far behind, and you’re bound to encounter some Bling’d-out avatars in the metaverse.
Through collaboration with VOID Cyber, Reebok is one brand in a rotation of VALT-launched products. Expect to see more and more recognizable brands launching NFTs collections.
And, when the VALT is fully operational, brands will come straight from the metaverse. We’ll see brands originate in a virtual space before coming out into the real world. For now, it’s the other way around, but that’s will change.

That’s an impressive lineup! So far, we can check Reebok off the list. We’ll just have to speculate about who will come next. Playboy NFTs, anyone?
