The RFOX VALT metaverse is a complex beast. Many ventures, ideas, and innovations are coming together to build a next-generation SuperDapp targeted primarily at Southeast Asian consumers.

The VALT combines gaming, DeFi, NFTs, education, and more and puts it in a user-friendly package. Blockchain runs in the background, and most consumers won’t even know they’re using tokens. And that’s the team’s aim.

But since experimental technology doesn’t yet perform as we envision, we’re not quite at the point where your grandmother can mint NFTs and launch a collection. Or are we?

10k NFT sale turned giveaway

The original plan was to sell a set of 10k NFTs, the world’s first NFTs bearing the Miss Universe brand. The sale was quite a surprise, actually.

For the 1st 24 hours, collectors could purchase Ms. U Philippines NFTs using RFOX token. Keep in mind that all minted NFTs tie into OpenSea by default, where they can be traded in ETH and RFOX.

Several factors contributed to why the sale converted into a giveaway, with RedFOX Labs refunding all RFOX collected.

Instead of hoarding more RFOX, which they collected 29M of during the RFOX VALT SHOP auction, they used it as an opportunity to stress-test the new RFOX NFT platform.

The team was aware of the final-hours buying frenzy that would occur by such a move, offering the perfect chance to see how well the new platform performs under stress from hundreds of simultaneous users.

RFOX created a win-win by choosing to spread their NFTs across more wallets. It’s hard to resist buying NFTs when you know you’ll get a refund!

10 ETH giveaway (~$30k)

The Miss Universe Philippines contest is a serious event in that country, with millions tuning in to see which finalist will represent Filipinas in international competition.

Thirty finalists were slated to compete, but unfortunately, 3 of them fell ill and had to withdraw. The remaining 27 competitors now have an entire NFT collection built using their photos.

Each Ms. U PH hopeful has 10 copies of a Mythic card featuring the contestants in exclusive RFOX-branded sportswear.

Coronation night on September 30 will decide who wears the pageant’s crown. That offline event will trigger an online giveaway. All 10 of the winner’s Mythic cards represent a 1 ETH prize.

All 10 Ethereum addresses holding the winner’s Mythic card on September 30 will get a full ETH token dropped straight into their wallet.

**Introducing Miss RFOX **

RedFOX Labs didn’t just snap a few photos and go about their business. They interviewed each competitor to find out why they deserve the title of Miss RFOX, presented by RFOX Media.

What’s in it for them? For starters, they get $2.000. Plus, the charity of their choice receives another $2.000. On top of that, the winner will gain an influx of passionate RFOX fans as new followers.

Regardless of the title, another boon for the women competing is how a cut of every sale (6.5%) on OpenSea goes back to Ms. U PH. That means every time one of the Ms. U PH NFTs is sold, a portion of the proceeds return to the person on the NFT!

RFOX NFT will continue to launch exciting collections, and I’m looking forward to the road ahead.
