The RFOX VALT Metaverse Welcomes New Residents

Last week I was telling you guys about how the RFOX VALT metaverse is gearing up for collaboration with multiple organizations.

This week, I’m here to tell you about which exciting organizations are setting up shop inside the VALT. One of them is getting a marquee SHOP. Those are held for the big brands that can bring visitors to the metaverse.

Animals are quite the rage in the Ethereum NFT community and a very exciting breed is coming to live in the VALT, most likely riding a spaceship to get there.

So who is everybody? Let’s find out:

Question 1: Who’s the first organization to have rights to a marquee SHOP inside the VALT’s gaming quarter?

Marquee SHOPs are very special. While everyone else gets into bidding wars for the 25 that go up for auction in every quarter, marquee organizations get a SHOP for free.

The tradeoff is they have to be recognizable and capable of bringing an audience to the VALT.

Yield Guild Games fits the bill nicely and will make a great addition to the gaming quarter! Look for many other partnerships to spring from this collaboration.

Question 2: Why was YGG chosen over other contenders?

RFOX is all about empowerment through technology. And YGG shares that view. Their Axie Infinity scholarship program is very uplifting.

You see, Axie is a Play-To-Earn game but it’s not free to join. Players must first purchase NFTs to play with before they can get started. And depending on the market price it sometimes cost over $1,000 to buy 3 Axies.

YGG helps by sponsoring players. They give them the NFTs they need to play and then take a cut of their earnings until the Axies are paid off.

Play-To-Earn is huge in the developing countries of Southeast Asia, which is the same region RFOX targets.

Question 3: Which game can Play-To-Earn players interact with while they wait their turn on YGG’s scholarship list?

A very special blockchain-powered game is nearly complete. KOGs: SLAM! is a digital reimagining of Pogs, the controversial schoolyard game from the 1990s.

The game has a P2E mechanic that lets players earn in-game tokens they can trade into local currency. It’s kinda like Axie but there’s a huge difference: KOGs: SLAM! is free to download and play.

Question 4: Does the RFOX ecosystem have any more reward-based games available?

Only if you’re in Myanmar, for now. Residents can enter RFOX Media’s play-to-eat tournament. RFOX Run lets gamers compete to win food delivery vouchers from foodpanda.

Question 5: Which big ape NFT project is coming to the VALT?

The Harambe Protocol will issue a collection of 10,000 hand-drawn gorilla NFTs inside the VALT metaverse.

Not only that, but a subset of the designs will feature distance RFOX branding.

Question 6: Are Harambe NFTs compatible with metaverses outside RFOX VALT?

Yes! You can use your Harambe NFT avatars in the VALT and also in The Sandbox, an open-world gaming metaverse similar to a blocky Grand Theft Auto.

Check out The Sandbox vs. RFOX VALT for a comparison of both metaverses.

Question 7: Why does it seem so quiet in the RFOX Telegram chat?

Telegram is a great private chat channel but doesn’t have the ability to categorize. In other words, it’s really hard to find things.

Between RFOX Finance, RFOX Games, RFOX Media, etc., Telegram just can’t handle it all.

To make it easy for the community to collaborate and learn about every venture in a centralized location, the team, with the help of awesome Brand Ambassadors, now has a RFOX Discord server.

Head on over and ask all questions you may have. The server is 10,000 members strong so you should be able to find the answers to anything that comes up!
