Police Destroyed Drugs in Indonesia

A total of 1,86 tons of marijuana and 10 kilograms methamphetamine was destroyed at the Aceh Police Headquarters, Banda Aceh City, Aceh Province, Indonesia, Thursday, August 24, 2017. The drugs were confiscated by the police in Aceh during 2017. Destruction of marijuana is done by burning. While the methamphetamine is dissolved with alcohol then put into a cement mixer, and planted in the soil. Destruction of this drug led directly by the Chief of Aceh Police, Irjend Pol Rio S Djambak, and other state officials.

Drug abuse by students has a negative impact on the development of the younger generation. Eradication of drug abuse is also supported by the President of Indonesia.

People who produce drugs and circulate them will be dealt with firmly by the Aceh Regional Police. Members of the police will also be punished if caught into backing drug trafficking in Aceh.
