Secure or Insecure

I have traveled in metro rail service in Indian Cities like Bangalore/Delhi
I have also traveled in metro rail service in cities like Singapore

One thing that I found striking is the number of security personnel and baggage screening personnel that are there in Indian cities.

There are security personnel to screen the people, screen the baggage, control the lines and entry into the metro trains and several others.
This is replicated at every metro rail station.

In stark contrast, there is no such personnel in any of the metro stations in Singapore. No people screening, no baggage screening, and no security to monitor people to get into the metro trains.

I wonder is this because we are more insecure as a nation ?
Are we also more non-responsible as people that we need so many personnel on routine basis to monitor the people continuously?

Nice article, sometimes the security is there but it looks fake. India tag is missing?
