Today I was reading news in which I was studying about the US based social media platform facebook in which there has been a major decrease in the stock market. Only in two hours the shares of Facebook decreased by 24 percent. Due to this Mark Zuckerberg has been lost around 1,700 crore.

Recently the chief financial officer David Ohner of the company announced the financial report of Facebook in the second quarter of this year. According to him in this quarter Facebook could not earn earn as expected. After realising of this information, the shares of Facebook decreased by 24 percent. Whose market value is approximately 15 billion dollars.
This is unexpected for Facebook for loss of market value of about 24%. This has not happened in the last few years of Facebook revenue. This is the first time after 2015, the company could not meet target expectations .
According to Facebook about 250 million new people stared using this social media platform. However, daily active users on Facebook increased 11 percent more than last year. And according to Wall Street prediction it was less than that what they are saying. In Europe the daily active users decreased by 20.8 million as compared to the last quarter.
