Electronic waste is usually neglected issue while taking about waste produced world wide. But this is a serious issue which is plaguing the environment.
Waste generated due to product obsolescence and discarded electronic items. These include television, microwave, mobile phone, computers etc

PROBLEMS CREATED BY E-WASTE

  1. It is hazardous for human health as e-waste accounts for 40% of lead and 75% of heavy metal found in landfill.
  2. Pollution of ground water and acidification of soil.
  3. Toxic substances and chemicals in e-waste may cause air pollution and effect environment.
  4. Damage to nervous system, DNA damage, lung cancer, damage to heart and liver and much more.

THE MAIN ISSUES

As main issue is that the e-waste is partially very valuable.
*Recover precious metal.
*Recover huge amount of plastic.
Also e-waste is partly hazardous too.
*It contains more than 1000 different toxic substances.
*Computers have lesser life but are purchased in huge amount resulting in obsolescence.

THE SOLUTION

There is solution to every problem whether its huge or not. e-waste management starts right from the point of production, Sustainable product design should be implied. toxic products like PVC, BFR, antimony etc should be minimized. Availability of spare parts should be there so that product may last longer. Energy efficient products should be used which owe energy ratings electronic waste should be disposed to only authorized private developers and recyclers.

Together we can reduce e-waste just need to follow certain steps.
Let’s create more awareness about such subjects so that we can contribute our bit to create pollution free environment.

This is so huge disposed electronic stuff ..
Their should be a recycling process .. so that these can be recycled nd can be use for some purpose

There is recycling process but that does not meet the exceeding amount of e-waste.

Okay .. that seems to be a valid answer ..

you are doing good brother....

@minnowpond

Thank you for appreciating brother.

Yes, on this way we can contribute our part to make this world better.

Companys wouldn't do this, because money is more important to them, that is why they wouldn't make products which may last longer (good products = less profit, because people buy more products which not may longer, they need more quick spare on this way and give companys more often more money for spare and so on).

The good message is, it's possible motivate companys to do more to save our environment with an economic side effect by products. Here in Germany some kids create bumf which was made with grass. When a company sell this for the same price like normally bumf, then more people will buy this product and have a good feeling, because they support environmentalism with this choice.

A lot of companys here made the inventor lucrative offers, because they want to have the patent and produce more from this, so the kids will earn a lot of money in future, during one of these companys will support environmental, when they do the right thing (environmental).Of course, they've the wrong reason to stop environmental pollution (profit), but hey, who cares their reasons, as long as the result is a good one. ;-)

You made a good point about company's ( good products= less profit).and its is interesting to know that companies can be motivated to create economic side effect products. and of course who cares their reasons, as long as the result is a good one. by the way thanks for showing interest in my post.

Yeah, probably... But I don't have time, too much school.
