Hi Everyone Sandman Here,
This video is brought to you by a donation from Scott once again and here's what he has to say: "Hi Sandman, Scott again. There's an odd phenomenon of men, usually boomer and older gen x men, insisting that millennial men go out there and fulfill traditional masculine duties. But when it comes to the role of women in society, they don't seem to have an idea of what it is, or if they do, they don't care to enforce it. To give one example of this, Jordan Peterson often uses shaming language against men. He calls MGTOW "losers or pathetic weasels" and encourages young men to "climb the dominance hierarchy" to earn self-respect. But when he talks about the poor choices young women make, he talks about them in a detached, almost scientific way. You'll never hear Peterson calling feminists "losers" or another word that connotes a failure meet some standard. I call this phenomenon "halfway house feminism." The idea is that masculine norms are non-negotiable for men and that they are to be shamed for failing to abide by them, but that women have the option of abiding to feminine norms. This is different from Anita Sarkeesian style feminism, in which traditional masculine and feminine roles are inverted. My question is this: do you recognize this phenomenon, and if so, when did it begin and why do boomer and gen x males seem so keen on enforcing it?" Well Scott, thanks for the back to back donations. I'll continue on with what I was saying in the last video. The old timers have their love goggles on and they also see the weakling simp younger males and they don't see them as fully masculine. So what they are doing is trying to shame them to man up and take responsibility. They want younger men to take on the burden of family and become husbands because for the most part guys like Molyneux, Peterson and even Paul Elam have long-term stable relationships with kids. Except for Elam. The women they are with are probably far better behaved than the women that most guys younger than forty to forty-five have to deal with. Notice that the guys that want you to man up are usually in their mid to late forties and above. John the Other is around 45, which appears to be the cutoff.
