Michelin restaurants are supposed to be the creme de la creme of restaurants as they were once the de facto standard of dining for motorists looking for something good to eat.
I've never held the badge of Michelin honour as a de-facto standard for my dining experiences however as I tend to look past the superficial aspects of the rating and judge a restaurant on how my experience was overall. So today, I went to Tempura Matsui in NYC.
