The illusion of the world

A hearty good day to my fellow steemians.

Let us today talk about the reality of all our lives.

The very world we live in today is nothing but an illusion. We encounter people in our daily lives that try to be someone they are not just to keep up an image that society and the media project onto us all! If even the very food that we consume is not what we think it is, how can we then trust that what we see and what we experience is real?

In my opinion, we can only believe that what we experience is true is when we are completely true with ourselves and that means coming to terms with all of our wrong doings, all of our failures and all of our weaknesses, only then that once we see ourselves as we truly are that we can then start making up for our mistakes, rectifying our failures and improving upon our weaknesses.

Sometimes we are just so caught up in ourselves and in our own made up fantasies that truly looking at all our flaws is next to impossible because what I’m suggesting is that we look at the demon within ourselves and accepting it for what it is but at the same time, not letting it remain that same demon. We look at it, embrace it and show it a better and more wholesome route, one that leads to a brighter future and only then that once we consciously decide to nourish ourselves with our truest and realest self, that’s when our demons turn into angels.

I know this concept might seem outlandish to most but it’s something that I have implemented in my life as of recent and it makes me feel so much better as an individual.
