'Act like it's impossible to fail'
A couple of days ago my 7th grade class won the sport tournament at the school I'm currently working. It wasn't about practicing a lot and winning a lot of games. It was about their mindset.
The first lesson I told them: 'Listen guys, we are gonna win this tournament. We are gonna have lots of fun, laugh together, play fair but we are also gonna win'.
After a couple of days they started to think and believe they actually could win the tournament. A couple of weeks later they knew they we're going to win and so we did.
The first step is changing your mindset.
Don't think you're going to succeed.
Don't believe you're going to succeed.
Know that you're going to succeed.
