Why is Minecraft still relevant?

MINECRAFT

I've been playing this game for some 3 years now and it's been a lot of fun.

Why it's still relevant?

Honestly, the only reason I kept playing it was multiplayer, which is a big part of the game. But for some people, Minecraft is a way to express creativity and enjoy their free time. The game is so diverse that there is something for everyone. For me, it's multiplayer survival and PvP because I'd like to think I'm a very competitive person when it comes to games. For others, it could be the freedom and adventure of the single-player aspects of the game.

Why I played this game for 3 years?

It was just fun to experience everything this game has to offer. And it kept me coming back to it almost every day. Another big reason was my friends. Without the 4 hours long SMP(survival multiplayer) sessions I would have stopped playing this game a long time ago.

There is just something about this game that screams fun.
I can't really put my finger on it.

Thank you for reading this fairly short post.

It will always be relevant... Even if a lot of people don't admit that this game made crafting, survival and procedural generated worlds popular, it did. It's the same way it was Quake for the multiplayer FPSs, or how Wolfenstein 3D wad for the whole FPS genre.

That's what I'm saying :D Thank You for reading!

It was an interesting read actually, well done!
