A Sailor's Review of the Netflix Movie Minimalism

in minimalism •  7 years ago  (edited)

New post up on the blog about a recent movie that I watched on Netflix called Minimalism. The topic of the movie was not exclusively minimalism, but instead related the topic to many other important facets of life. Whether you are a sailor or not, you will find something to relate to in this movie and it could just change your whole perspective on life.

Read my review of the movie and it's powerful and important messages here.

I challenge you to read the post, and watch the trailer for the movie at the bottom just to open your mind to some of the ideas presented by Josh and Ryan, the Minimalists!! If you like the trailer, then I highly recommend you give the movie a shot1. Our Sloop.jpg

I love minimalism - even though i rarely live up to it... every time i watch these documentaries, like the little houses, i always get inspired to get rid of a bunch of stuff. but it always seems like i still have too much ;)

It is difficult to live up to the ideal minimalist... but keeping it in mind everytime I purchase anything is how I practice it. The things I already own will slowly wear out and overtime I'll live with less - but it's replacing things that do not need replaced that I'm trying to keep in mind! Thanks for the comment ☺
