This is continuation from previous article: MonetaVerde Mining – Blockchain Synchronization
So MonetaVerde daemon is running and blockchain is updated.
Now create simple wallet:
simplewallet --generate-new-wallet C:\Users\Jofta\Documents\MCN_Wallet\test_mcn_wallet.bin --password aaabbbccc111222333
Of course your password should be strong and you should back up wallet’s folder C:\Users\Jofta\Documents\MCN_Wallet:
Type refresh:
You can start mining now (four threads in this example):
start_mining 4
MCN daemon’s output:
To stop mining type:
stop_mining
To stop wallet always type exit (not only close a window) and to start wallet again type:
simplewallet --wallet-file C:\Users\Jofta\Documents\MCN_Wallet\test_mcn_wallet.bin --password aaabbbccc111222333
To properly stop daemon and save changes in blockchain (local node) always type exit (not only close a window) :
