A hard lesson in cloud miningsteemCreated with Sketch.

I'm writing this to all of you who are new to cryptos and are thinking about mining them in an online pool like https://hashflare.io. The idea is that you send them some money in the form of bitcoin or FIAT money and they will mine on your behalf. It's a great solution if one doesn't want to invest in expensive hardware and is not a tech geek.
It's not really profitable to use cloud mining but you do get you investment back with some extra profit.
I've been using Hashflare for some time now and I can honestly say they are not a scam. But I had some issues with their service and customer support.

Lately, I've been paying them in bitcoin for hashrate, but when they receive the transaction I didn't get the hash contracts accepted. At first, I thought their system is not working properly, so I wrote to technical support. In response they told me that I have not sent the full amount, there were missing 0.0001 bitcoin, and this is the reason. So the first time they let it go and activated my hashrate. Then I though maybe It's my mistake and I didn't put the right amount of bitcoin. The second time I sent them bitcoin, again I had the same issue. I send them like 60$ in bitcoin and got no response at all.
After going through my payment process and history I finally realized that indeed I made a huge mistake. I send them the amount through Poloniex and they charge me 0.0001 bitcoin for the transaction. So I though, OK problem solved. I wrote customer support why I've been sending them less bitcoins. But after a couple of emails they didn't want to reply to any of my request to activate or return my 60$.
The moral of this story is use a local wallet when sending money to an online service who accepts bitcoin, or if you want to send them from an online exchange add a little more bitcoin to cover the transaction fee.
After having a bad communication with hashflare.io and losing $60 because of 0.0001 bitcoin I will no longer use their service. I have learned my lesson the hard way. The crypto world is merciless, and they will take your money for any good reason they can think of.
Just don't let it happen to you also.

Mining contracts are not profitable. That's why these companies sell hashrate. You will be better just investing in crypto or building a minor yourself.

Good advice, thanks!

Lesson learned. No cloud mining for me too.

I haven't tried hashflare, but i have been using genesis mining for the past 2 months. So far everything works like a charm. Most profitable is currently to mine Dash.

I have also contract in hashflare , i had some isues to verify my creditcard but suport was very helpful , they even call me at phone and guyde me step buy step :) Hope you fix soon this problem :)

They refuse to talk to me, so I'll just go over to a different service.

Fees are awaiting us behind each corner 😃
Could you specify wich profit percentage are you talking about when you say "some extra profit but not very profitable"?

I mean you can make a lot more with trading, but it's riskier.

I have contract with Hashflare.

Could you share wich is the benefit percentage they're offering you?

I don't know exactly. Very little percentage.

So, summarizing, it's not a good investment.
Thanks.

hello so they are no support until now? your money gone?
